Monetize Your Blog #1

When you are writing a blog post of an informational nature, keep track of these 4 tactics

1. Choose a key-word phrase that people are searching.
2. Use the keyword-phrase in the title of the article.  “Monetize Your Blog” is a keyword phrase that people are interested in, so that is why I chose it for this blog.
3. Make sure you use your key-word phrase in sub-headers if the article is long enough to have them.
4. When you get to the last paragraph of the article, tell the reader where they can get more information.

In the case of this topic, monetizing your blog, I would put in a link to a book or product that would be useful to the reader.  “To find out more about monetizing your blog, read, How to Make Money on the Internet (Make Money Online).  Even if you are using an Amazon widget, people are more likely to act on an inline recommendation than a sidebar ad. – Tell them to do exactly what you want them to do – make it easy.
